- Older versions of Hentoid are being hosted on some other app stores but please be advised that those are not official and we cannot guarantee that they are safe to download or use. Only download new releases from here or our Github page.

Been using the app for a long time and it's great. I have a suggestion for it, maybe you could add a favorites section so it won't be hard to find a certain doujinshi.

DeleteMaybe you can have a page right below downloads that's for your favorites, and when you click on it, it'll bring you to a page similar to the downloads page, and to add things to the favorites page, you could either put another button next to the read button that adds it to your favorites, or make a button on the favorites page that when pressed, it'll take you back to the downloads page where instead of the read button, it'll just say add to favorites so you'll just add all your favorites like that to the page.

DeleteOnce you get the redirect - are you waiting until the page loads or are you browsing to any other page?
DeleteTsumino works a bit different from the two other sources so there is that caveat - but basically, are you waiting on the reading page to load before navigating elsewhere?

Yeah ..the site actually froze up whenever filtered acc to language, but when i checked on normal browser hitomi was working fine :/.. Lil strange
DeleteI see, we may need to optimize the WebView for Hitomi a bit more then - when you say normal browser, you mean on your device and not on a computer, right?
DeleteWe do a little bit of script cleanup on Hitomi (not enough to remove ads unfortunately, but enough for it to be usable) so a script may need to be updated.
No that's ok .. I use adaway ..im on a rooted android device..thanks for hitomi and i would also like to say whenever i download from nhentai, the download neva completes it stops..this happens with all dwlds not a specific one.

Are you getting to the captcha page with no issue and resolving said captcha?
I download mostly wid pages more than 20, and yes i solve the captcha n the download strts ..but it doesn't strt ..it's stuck at zero, if it strts the download gets stuck eventually n doesn't complete

DeleteWe are currently focusing on improving the overall performance and compatibility of the app with the current sources then we will consider adding Fakku Subscription support after a few other free sources are in - as long as there is demand for it.
Tsumino downloads stopped working for me.

Tsumino crashes after I solve captcha, when reusing tsumino I dont have to use captcha until after a few dls and then crashes upon solve. Ocasionally it goes through tho.

Can you tell me how to save the mangas to external SDCard? I tried changing the download directory to it (by choosing extSdcard in download setting), but it kept saying "you have no permission to download to that directory. try another folder." My android version is 5.0, while hentoid version is already the latest.

DeleteTsumino isn't downloadinh properly, it buffers the download then just ends it saying it downloaded with errors. Im using samsung galaxy S4 with android 5.0.1
ReplyDeleteHaven't been able to reproduce this error - we have an update coming soon so hopefully this issue has been fixed already.
DeleteWhen I click View on something I downloaded from nhentai from a previous version of the app it will bring up the download button instead of the play button. If i try to download again I will have two entries for the same manga. If I press view after downloading the duplicate on either entry the play button shows up as intended. Deleting one duplicate entry will remove the thumbnail from the remaining entry but will reappear after a few seconds. Pressing Read on the remaining entry will give the error "no jpg file found in...".
ReplyDeleteAlso from nhentai if the files downloaded are all png then pressing Read gives the error "no jpg file found in...". the files are properly downloaded as i can see them in perfect viewer if i go to their folder. ex. http://nhentai.net/g/159984/
If the images are a mix of png and jpg then the first jpg will be shown when pressing Read. ex. http://nhentai.net/g/114645/ Using an LG-VS450PP on Android 4.4.2
This is a known limitation with the currently released version of the app which has already been fixed - an update is coming soon to address this issue.

DeleteIs it possible to add to queue for later download? When i use wifi at other place ? So i can just resume it later.

DeleteI want to report that I am having the same issue as the commenter above. When I am in Tsumino, I can only swipe up/down to scroll or refresh. I can not open any of the doujins, the menu and search options, nor access the Tsumino announcements.

DeleteIs the website blocking something? Does it look like it renders, but nothing is interactive?
Have you tried tapping on items to make them respond (there is an ad that does this)?
Hello. I've been using the apps uv been making for a year now. I especially what uv don't with hentoid but recently I can't seem to download anything from nhentai. Tsumino and hitomi work fine ,but when I'm browsing nhentai and press download on a manga ,it says it's downloading next thing i see is that the download is complete and the new icon is there in the downloads list but there's no images inside.
ReplyDeleteThis is a new one, I haven't had any issues with nhentai, but then again I have the latest code changes.
DeletePlease wait until the update is out and report if you are still seeing this issue.
I've been having issues where some downloads get stuck and when they do the notification stops anad doesn't disappear and it wont download anything else until the notification disappears which usually means i have to turn my phone off then back on
