FakkuDroid v2.6.0

Read the initial message and support the project ^_^

FakkuDroid v2.6.0

New Features:

- Improve perfomance speed downloading image covers.
- Add and remove favorites (FIXED)
- Android 3.2 problems (FIXED) *
- Change Page with volume buttons (in Preference)
- Some app crashs and bugs fixeds.

 *Tobighost, please, test and say me if it works now.

    Helo....
    When I open the app...it says...no cove image....and nothing happen...
    Is it because I can't open fakku in my mobile?
    Please help me....I really like fakku

      Maybe implementing a proxy, but I don't know how to do that. Sorry =/. BTW, what is your country?

    nice update, but
    now force closes more happening when minimized, and it's ruining downloads.
    ( the last image always corrupt when force close happened )

    - need to make the downloader overwrite the last image when continuing downloads.

      Well, if your ISP(internet service provider) is blocking http://www.fakku.net, the app isn't going to work, but if in your smartphone you can access to fakku.net and the app isn't working, it is my fault.

      actually my phone is on a custom rom (jellyblast 3.0) so my Android version is 4.1.1

      I haven't seen the code but I'll give you a hint.
      If you use the Apache DefaultHttpClient class on your project ( http://developer.android.com/reference/org/apache/http/impl/client/DefaultHttpClient.html ) you can use the setParameter method to add a proxy to your connection.

      HttpHost proxy = new HttpHost("yourproxyhere", port);
      httpclient.getParams().setParameter(ConnRoutePNames.DEFAULT_PROXY, proxy);

      Simply add a textbox in the preferences activity to set proxy url and port and let the users who have connectivity problems to set up a proxy by themselves.

    Doesn't work after update. Running on gs3 4.1.2
    Nothing loads and downloads say error. I can view the doujins on main site but not
    Through the app.

      Thanks for your feedback! If you have problems with pinch in or pinch out, it exists an option in the preferences to enable the volume buttons as zoom buttons.

    I'm also having an issue where viewing many a gives a blck screen and trying to download always gives an error. this happens on both a tablet and a phone running 4.2.2. I can access fakku.net fine from a browser.

      Sorry for the delay, can you please, enable the log file writer in preferences, replicated the error and send me the file? (You can upload in service like mega, mediafire, etc).

    My favorites dont show up, search feature has a lot trouble (result mostly not show up). Im using JB 4.2.1, please fix it. Thanks :)

    App is really nice, but I also cannot access favorites.
    Favorites is blank in the app, and when I click the Internet icon it takes me to "http://www.fakku.net/users/*myusername*/favorites" which is a dead page.
    If I log in to the site, then go to favorites, the url is http://www.fakku.net/users/*myusername*-4642652/favorites"

    Hi,
    I've found that if I'm logged in, when I click on any manga, it gives me no data error. If I click on the same manga after I log out, it works correctly.

      I have the same problem using my Aus Transformer Infinity with Android 4.2.1
      I have no problem opening it in my browser. only in the apps.

      Hola, gracias por tu feedback. El problema es general, probablemente Fakku cambio un poquito su html e hizo que la app hiciera crash. Ahorita mismo no puedo trabajar en una solución porque me encuentro en mi pueblo y no tengo buen internet, hoy dia mismo estoy volviendo a la ciudad por lo que podria empezar a ver el problema.
      Otro problema que tengo es que no cuento actualmente con un dispositivo con Android y bueno si hay suerte esta semana compro uno.
      Por cierto, si puedes entender ingles, te dejo el link del foro donde están discutiendo el problema:
